Fediwall uses the unauthenticated timeline API to fetch hashtagged posts. You can turn off this setting in your instance preferences (uncheck "Server settings -> Discovery -> Allow unauthenticated access to public timelines"), and Fediwall will no longer be able to retrieve the posts.
