This lets us automatically start swaylock on lid close, useful when on the go, although not a replacement for turning off a computer fully.
sway
sway is an i3-compatible Wayland compositor.
Use Cases
sway can be used to:
- Have the benefits of a tiling window manager like i3 in Wayland
You should not use sway if:
- Your GPU driver doesn't support Generic Buffer Management (GBM)
