Note that maintaining both sway and bspwm is inconvenient, so I may eventually cut one of them for ease of living.
sway
sway is an i3-compatible Wayland compositor.
Use Cases
sway can be used to:
- Have the benefits of a tiling window manager like i3 in Wayland
You should not use sway if:
- Your GPU driver doesn't support Generic Buffer Management (GBM)
