# Description Close: #8988 Thanks to new crossterm version, nushell can support blink cursor shape. It can be config with the following value: 1. blink_block 2. blink_line 3. blink_underscore And original block, line, underscore will be steady. It also fixes wrong shape of `underscore`. # User-Facing Changes Here is a little breaking change, before the change: `line` cursor shape is blinking line, but after this pr, it will be `steady line`. To make a blink line, we need to change the value to `blink_line`. But I think it's ok, because after the change, we have a good naming convention about the name of shape # Tests + Formatting <!-- Don't forget to add tests that cover your changes. Nushell core libraries and plugins
These sub-crates form both the foundation for Nu and a set of plugins which extend Nu with additional functionality.
Foundational libraries are split into two kinds of crates:
- Core crates - those crates that work together to build the Nushell language engine
- Support crates - a set of crates that support the engine with additional features like JSON support, ANSI support, and more.
Plugins are likewise also split into two types:
- Core plugins - plugins that provide part of the default experience of Nu, including access to the system properties, processes, and web-connectivity features.
- Extra plugins - these plugins run a wide range of different capabilities like working with different file types, charting, viewing binary data, and more.
