paru

paru is a new AUR helper for Arch Linux.

Use Cases

paru can be used to:

  • Easily check for updates of AUR packages
  • Install packages faster (no typing sudo!)
  • Clean unused dependencies easily (-c)

You should not use paru if:

  • You want to use yay instead.
