Invert &Options to Option<&T> ()
Elide the reference for `Copy` type (`usize`)
Use the canonical deref where possible.
* `&Box` -> `&`
* `&String` -> `&str`
* `&PathBuf` -> `&Path`

Skips the ctrl-C handler for now.
