1) fixed observance of new year and new year's eve, which can fall into the next or previous year
...
2) additionaly added new year of the next year and new year's eve of the last year to this years holidays, as they are often displayed (or missing) in a week- or day-view
3) fixed the not working saving of a changed observance rule in the holiday manager
4) added the observance rule to new year in the US

who offered a series of functions to convert the
encoding from big5 to utf-8. It works fine~ Should I also
upload it for anyone who would like to understand the

a little ui enhancement in addressbook

addressbook/inc/class.uiaddressbook.inc.php in the line
161 remove this:
size="3"
On my installation there are 15 categories, a user has
to scroll down to find approprate category, size="3"
for category select box is too limited. Does not
specify size makes mozilla provide a select box just
fit it's content. Don't know how it would be in IE.

added error-message if webserver user need to be in a certain group to execut the crontab command. The name of the webserver user and the groupname are read from the process and the file-permission and displayed too, in case the admin dont know them ;-)

fixed and extended auto_create_accounts: the following information from ldap are now automaticaly stored in the sql-account:
...
- name & firstname
- primary group (if a group with that numerical id exists in eGW, its added as primary group to the account and acl)
- numerical account-id (if availible, no new one gets created, but the one from ldap is used)
- email (as preference for the email-app)
